Job Description

To coordinate and implement all human capital operational activities i.e. recruitment, development and retention of talent in the Company aswel as ensure that the performance management systems are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

HR Policies and Procedures     
  • Assist in Coordinating the human capital (HC) employee sensitizations on policies, procedures, etc
HR Compliance              
  • Assist in ensuring compliance to all mandatory statutory and institutional obligations. i.e., NAPSA, ZRA, NHIMA, WCFCB etc.
  • Assist in ensuring that all licensed members of staff have valid practicing licenses in adherence to compliance.
Staff Recruitment          
  • Assist in ensuring that correct job adverts are prepared as per the applicable job description.
  • Assist in ensuring that the recruitment process is adhered to by facilitating for background checks, police clearance, certification of certificates.
  • Assist in ensuring that offer letters and employment contracts are issued to the employees; and
  • Timely follow up on employees due for confirmation with respective supervisors.
Terms and Conditions of Service            
  • Assist in coordinating the Sensitization of Terms and Conditions of service to all new employees
  • Performance Management System (PMS)
  • Assist in coordinating the setting of Annual PerformanceTargets for all employees.
Training & Development             
  • Assist in undertaking training needs analysis
  • Assist in consolidating Company training plan.
  • Follow up and update all planned training and development programmes.
Disciplinary Matters     
  • Assist in coordinating disciplinary matters with Senior Human Capital Officer
Employee separations
  • Coordinate the exit interviews
  • Ensure and liaise with other departments and units to ensure that the exiting employee hands over all Company property as per policy.
Records Management 
  • Ensure that all employee relevant documentation is up todate in accordance with the Company policy and on file
Staff Welfare    
  • Assist in ensuring that staff welfare activities are implemented.
Staff Wellness                
  • Assist in arranging wellness programs.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating employees’ medicalscheme activities.
Payroll Processing         
  • Assist in organising all the monthly payroll inputs.
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, and Public Administration or its equivalent
  • Analytical, innovative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of analytics.
  • Good leadership skills
  • Exceptional people management skills.
  • Must be emotionally intelligent
  • Good Communication skills
  • Member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (Minimum Student Membership)
