Job Description

The Tele‑Sales Officer is responsible for generating new business leads, conducting outbound cold calls to prospective clients across various sectors, nurturing existing prospects, and tracking business opportunities on the E‑Government Procurement (EGP) platform. The role supports the sales team with pipeline growth and contributes directly to revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify, generate, and qualify new sales leads throughoutbound calls, email outreach, and database mining.
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of prospective clients acrosstargeted sectors.
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine client requirements andrecommend suitable products/services.
Cold Calling & Client Engagement
  • Make highvolume outbound cold calls dailyto prospective clients.
  • Present the company’s products and services professionallyand persuasively.
  • Build rapport with key decision-makers to secure meetings orsales opportunities for the field sales team.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide preliminary productinformation where applicable.
Tender Tracking & Opportunity Monitoring
  • Monitor tenders and opportunities daily on the E GovernmentProcurement (EGP) platform.
  • Identify relevant tenders, extract key details, and sharetimely notifications with the sales team.
  • Track submission deadlines, mandatory requirements, andupdates for active tenders.
  • Maintain organized tender records to ensure timely action.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all calls, leads,and interactions in the CRM or designated tracking system.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on leads generated, callperformance, and tender activity.
  • Provide insights and feedback on lead quality, customerresponses, and market trends.
Sales Coordination
  • Work closely with the Sales Team, Business Development, andMarketing to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Schedule appointments and followups for fieldsales officers.
  • Share client intelligence gathered through calls and tendertracking.
  • Ensure to use the scripts provided by INFRATEL to guide andcustomise the conversations. By following these scripts effectively, you willensure consistency and convey the company’s message clearly and persuasively.
  • Contribute to the overall revenue growth by aligning withthe strategic focus products.
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Holds a Diploma business/marketing.
  • University Degree in business/marketing is an added advantage.
